Which competition, who is operating it, what is the judging based on, is it a competition leading to a real commission or purely theoretical, if the former is there a stipend for finalists to develop their projects, and what are the associated entrance fees?
Yeah, bad idea. Competitions are usually very fast paced and need a quick and effective output, only a cohesive team that's worked together at some point can really pull out a good entry.
