I always see many successful portfolios have interesting talents/hobbies throughout the last few pages (ex: paintings, sculptures, free-hand drawing). I was curious what other kind of different talents students have included in their portfolio beyond the examples I provided above?
I interviewed one undergrad applicant a long time ago who told the story of how she was impaled by a sabre during a fencing tournament. She got an acceptance offer.
Im including drystack stone wall building, traditional thatching and lashing, wood carving. My portfolio seems to have more physically built objects than others I see (primarily renderings and graphics).

Contortionism would be a unique skill, and you can fold yourself up into a nice package and be sent together with the portfolio.
