Kent State University's College of Architecture and Environmental Design announces their Fall 2024 Lecture Series. Events will follow a 40x40 format with a 40-minute presentation by the guest lecturer followed by interactive panel discussions with faculty and the audience for the remaining 40 minutes. The series launches with Lisa Iwamoto's "Translations" Toguchi Lecture on September 4.
The remaining lectures of the semester are from guests James F. Kerestes, Ebrahim Poustinchi + Vahid Vahdat September 25. Followed by Elisa Dainese Georgia Institute of Technology assistant professor on September 30. October lineup includes David Eskenazi principal of d.esk and Design Faculty, SCI-Arc on October 7, followed by Virginia San Fratello, founding partner of Rael San Fratello on October 16 and the month ends with Tomás Folch professor Adolfo Ibañez University on October 21.
November will kick off with our Perspectus Lecture by Nathalie de Vries, founding partner of MVRDV on November 13 and end with Alan Balfour, Michelle Hauk, Sung Ho Kim + Heather Woofter on November 18.
