This is for NYC building code, there are conditions for adding a three piece bathroom in the cellar, I’m confused whether or not you need 2 different stairs to satisify condition 2 and 3 below, one to go to residence above and another to outdoor, OR one stair that can go both outdoor and residence above will satisfy.
2) The cellar is connected via an unenclosed stair to the residence above except for a door at the top of the stair. 3) The cellar has direct access to the outdoors via stairs and an operable door.
Kevin, have you considered hiring and paying someone for these things? You can’t just blast through this only through googling skills. This shit costs someone their time, pay them and you’ll get answers.
