Confused about Masters (SAC vs Polimi)
Hello!
I recently got admitted for the Advanced Architectural Design (AAD) course at Staedelschule Architecture Class (SAC), Frankfurt (Germany).
The degree they offer is M.A (Master of Arts in Architecture).
Can anyone help me with a few doubts?
1. What is the reputation of the school? (There isn't much talk about it anywhere. Even on Archinect)
Is it equal in reputation or more like the AA or IaaC or SCI-Arc ?
2. Is it possible to attain a job in Germany/Europe with this degree?
3. How good is the teaching and studio culture?
I've also got an offer from Politecnico di Milano for the M.Sc Building Architecture (BA) course (It's a pretty technical course).
Will Polimi being a more famous and well ranked institution offer a better employment opportunity compared to SAC? They say SAC has a good connection to the professional world as there are a lot of famous visiting professors and lectures happening frequently.
I'm confused where to join.
