Not sure anyone can help but I tried to import a vector works document which seemed to have been created on an unlicensed copy and Vector will not let me import it. Is there any way to overcome this?
Does it need to be a vectorworks document for you to be able to use it? Maybe as a workaround/quick fix they can export to a different file format, like IFC or DXF that you can import back into VW. And if you are forced to have more dealings with this person tell them that you can't work with this workflow and their use of an illegal copy, that it's highly unprofessional and that they can buy it second hand as well: https://forum.vectorworks.net/...

Hey,

Contact the file's original author and get them to resend.
