Congratulations to everyone who have been accepted to various graduate school programs! I've looked into this thread for a while now but didn't have any luck so I might as well ask: Why are you pursuing graduate school/masters degree? How relevant is it to your profession? How does the opportunities, or academic and professional trajectory, of having one compare to someone with only a bachelors + years of experience? Is it required for licensure, or accreditation, or for added credentials?
It was a requirement for registration and gaining entry into the profession, and yes even without the requirement it was worth it as I got a lot of exposure to things that I would probably not have done on my own.

(asking for a friend)
...because my local jurisdiction requires it as part of the licensing process.
If it weren't a requirement, would you have still taken a masters degree ?
