Recommended programs to learn Autocad
I work for a construction company and would benefit by learning autocad (2D) for map drawing for permitting. Which programs should i use? Mind you I have no prior experience with cad.

What are your thoughts on Revit?
Great, but it takes an excellent building science knowledge base to make it work efficiently for projects. It's a 3D BIM drafting tool however, so, it's not the same sport as regular old CAD.
So for what i am trying to achieve its best to stick with the basics, got it. Thank you for your input!
