I know from past comments there's generally a negative opinion about the guy but can't say I share the same sentiment after listening to his critique here for students in the IoA:

He still wrecked the student tho, oh well.

I guess he is cool for a guy that only produces intellectual navel gazing.
I admit, I know nothing that he's done since 2007's Far from Equilibrium. I did like his contributions to Koolhaas' Mutations.
