Hello ! As an undergrad student who will soon be applying for internship in USA , I would love to know which are the common softwares which architecture firms use for designing and rendering purposes also which are used universally and I should be acquainted with ? eg. AutoCAD
In my experience, most corporate firms look for applicants that have Revit experience. SketchUp is widely used, and some architects look for Rhino/Grasshopper knowledge too. I've heard some offices use Microstation. Of course, knowing AutoCAD is still helpful, and might even make you especially valuable as an intern because so many recent graduates don't know it anymore.
