3-year B.S plus 4 years of professional experience for applying March.II?

Cherieccc

I gained a Bachelor of Science degree of Architecture Design in Italy, after graduated I've been working for an architecture design company in China for 3 years so far, which will become 4 years till next year time of enrollment. I know usually for March.II, a five-year degree of architecture is requested, but I'm wondering if the working experience can be considered as qualified for applying for a post-graduated degree?

No, professional experience is not considered in lieu of a 5-year undergrad professional degree for admission into a post-professional M.Arch program.  This is because the post-pro M.Arch is not an NAAB-accredited degree, so these programs can only admit students who already have an NAAB-accredited profesional degree.

You will find that a fair number of students in first-professional M.Arch programs have several years of professional experience - and occasionally are even already licensed architects.  The program to which you can be admitted really has nothing to do with your professional experience - it's purely an issue of past academic credentials.

Thanks for your explanation. @SpontaneousCombustion

I contacted several schools for this issue after posted this, and I got the same answer. But thanks for mentioning there're also students who have professional experience like me, even licensed architects, these are definitely valuable information for me.
