I am attending UCL Architectural Computation program this year, I would like to know if t is necessary to have a pre knowledge in programming. If yes, which software?
well, seeing how the program is about Architectural Computation, I'd say you should have a basic understanding, even better prior to the start of the program. You'd want to use the time in school to do creative things with your computational skills, not spend that time trying to learn programming basics. Python of a similar language available with CAD softwares would likely help
