Finishing my first year in a M.Arch. program and I found out I won't have an assistantship I have now next fall. As an out-of-stater at a state school I get a hefty discount off, but next year my costs would be 4x what they are now. I'm begging my advisor for any openings, but there are no guarantees. I love architecture, but reading about some debt loads people have, I have entertained dropping out/ work a year to get in-state or move on to other career options. Any other resources I should be looking at?
