perhaps move the arch photos you've taken to the cover as snapshots in similar layout, or do something different.
you run the risk of dashing your chances with the photo booth cover you have now
I would seriously consider revising the portfolio cover. The idea isn't bad, but it comes off as more of a fun photo-box reel you do at the carnival rather than a tie in to your concept of digital storytelling through photography.
I would also consider adding more drawings into the spreads. A professor told me they care less about "nice renderings" and want to see your understanding of space and how you deal with it.
Please no pictures of yourself, and especially not as your cover. I think this has been mentioned every time you have posted your portfolio.
