Usually through the front door, unless you are spiderman, then you go in through the window

Ability to drink copious amounts of whiskey. 

5. What non-mathematical skills are required to be successful in this career?

Skill of deluding yourself. Skill of tearing tracing paper neatly with the edge of a scale. Skill of accepting criticism that would make mere mortals jump off the same buildings we design.
