I'm studying for the AREs and have no time for fun reading, but I like to collect articles I can read one day after I'm licensed. What article from school, or that you've read since school, whether architecture related or not, has most impacted the way you think about architecture (design, concept, process, construction, etc) Is there a particular article or writing that you can see was a turning point in your approach to or view of architecture?
Can’t get my hands on the early writings & studies of Stephen Kieran FAIA, but it changed the way I practiced architecture and thought about design. Found a supporting piece from The AIA Journal that you should put in the pile….called - How the Brain Experiences Architecture.
My last performance evaluation really influenced me to finish my exam's, and come to think of it, the study material for the exam's has really influenced me along with Egyptian architecture.
These are all great! I have a suggestion that's not a writing. I think all architects should listen to this episode of architect sessions with Billie Tsien and Tod Williams. The way they talk about architecture and material is truly inspiring.

Not at all an influence on my design. But it's definitely an influence on my office life outlook.
Or maybe it's a graphical form of commiseration.
