I'm getting left behind in this age of googling. First, Non S tells me I can copy/paste an picture of an anomymous house in Google Images to see where this house is located. And now this!
If its a new building- most recent NYC building code.
Renovations are more complicated- depends on when the building got built- common codes include the 1968 code and the 1938 code..each has its own advantages... But ince you choose ine, you have ti be cinsistent when you file with the DOB, you can't pick and choose which components of your project are compliant with which code.
NY landmarks is also an issue... Whether or not your building is a landmark or located in a landmarks district is of great importance....
