I just created a personal page on del.icio.us, the social bookmarks site, which, by the way...is some techie's brilliant idea. My page is available here , although it only has two links to start with! surely i'll be adding millions.
What's amazing about this site, from what I can tell without much experience with del.icio.us, is that you can subscribe to the rss feed for any user you are interested in, and...more importantly, users can create tags. With the tags, you can look up all the stories that people have posted for a term, like for instance 'architecture' and those links are all stored in one convenient place with a logical url, and you can also rss it.
If you start to use it, you'll see how powerful it is as a tool. If anyone around here has a page, post it up...
What I find particularly impressive is the way that tagging allows a group of users to organize diverse information freely and quickly. Other sites like Flickr have employed similar folksonomies to great effect.
Browsing images by tag (someexamples) on Flickr can be totally addictive. Once you find a photo you'll see the tags listed to the right and can click on the little globe icon next to a tag that interests you to see all images on flickr that share that tag.
When I'm building models or something in studio I've often loaded up a Flickr slideshow (just add /show/ to the end of the url) of sky, clouds, etc for a little visual stimuli.
The other thing I really like about Flickr is the ability to mark images as visible only to friends and/or family. This lets you segment your audience without having to think about it.
If you're an RSS junkie, Javier, and run your own site you should check out feedburner which allows you to aggregate all of your person feeds into one stream.
Thanks for bringing this one up... It's pretty interesting... i've created my own site in del.icio.us too.. I'm gonna flood it with Barcelona and Catalonia architecture... firms, architects, projects and everything I can find...
* del.icio.us buttons - To easily access your bookmarks and post new bookmarks.
* Popup post window - So you can post a bookmark without leaving the page.
* Right-click post - Bring up the post popup from any mouse position.
* del.icio.us menu - Quick access via keyboard shortcuts.
* del.icio.us search - Quickly search for your bookmarks or others.
AP - your del.icio.us is great (dare I say - nutr.iciou.us?)
Did you enter all of your links individually? Or, did you figure out a way to upload all of them at once? (I haven't been able to get their downloadable buttons to work, either.)
Have you tried "Stumble"? Its a add on toolbar that takes you to random webpages based on your likes and interest, then remembers them. Pretty cool when you're bored.

del.icio.us/beebysausage
This is a great idea, especially for architecturally related websites and blogs to promote themselves. Kudos to the Flickr references Mr Boyer.
a couple more del.icio.us tag maps to add to the extispicious cloud...
found at visualcomplexity.com
del.icio.us Soup
and
The delicious Mind Map Maker
, which adds to their other tagging staple, Flickr.
wow. i sure would like to get more into web development right now. come up with our own folksonomy tool. That's a wise move by Yahoo.
someday I think that Yahoo and Google will get slammed like ATT into a bunch of smaller companies again.
