Hello,

Is this good idea to study architecture to become interior designer?

Thanks for your comments.

Architects do interior design all the time.

Interior designers can't do anything more than interior design.

Some states have a license for interior designers.

All states have a license for Architects.

So, depending on area, you can just hang out a sign and call yourself an interior designer with little background (kind of like people with expensive cameras calling themselves photographers and people with a copy of Creative Suite claiming to be graphic designers).  If you're in a state that has licensure requirements, you're going to have to put in some work.  If you're going to have to put in the work, I'd go Architecture so you can do both.

Definitely. Interior Designers with an architect's license are far more respected than interior designers with NCIDQ.

^ thumbs up

You've got pretty much all the prerequisites for interior design upon graduating high-school.
