This contest was won by Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos in 2008, started building in 2009. This group of fantastic constructions was designed in association with J. Francisco Serrano y Susana García.
It is located in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México, exactly in the bay, having a fabulous view where ever it’s seen in the 621,055.03 ft2 of designated area.
It is a cultural unit formed by five buildings communicated by circulations that the visitors can use to go from one building to the other or just for an outdoors walk. Surrounding a central garden the different facilities are located. The museum is a magnificent 590.55 ft long box. The theater a volume of geological geometry related to the hills on the background. The library is an inclined building. This pavilion celebrates the 200 and 100 years of the Independence and Revolution of Mexico respectively with an exhibit of the best of the regional, national and international culture.
