Rowley International provided Aquatic Design & Engineering for this project which consisted of one 25-Yard x 48-Foot, Six-Lane, approximately 3,600-Square-Foot Indoor Competition, Recreation, and Lap Swimming Rimflow Pool; one 46-Foot x 20-Foot, approximately 920-Square-Foot Indoor Recreation Pool; and one approximately 150-Square-Foot Indoor Hydrotherapy Spa. The Student Recreation Center occupies the second, third and fourth floors of the newly designed Academic and Student Recreation Center. The building is designed to use waste heat from the pool water to moderate air temperature. This Above-Grade Swimming Pool is utilizes a deck-level gutter system and Myrtha Prefabricated Stainless Steel Pool Shell Construction Technology and was awarded LEED Gold.

The hydrotherapy spa is a round fully tiled fiberglass spa shell construction mounted on a Structural Steel support system integrated into its own deck platform 18” above the pool deck.
