Specht Harpman was invited to a limited competition for Sculpture Center, a progressive New York arts organization. The organization acquired a multi-story industrial building, formerly a railway car repair shop, and adjacent vacant lot to adapt and reuse for an exhibition and studio facility. The new venue was designed to showcase traditional and digital formats, on a variety of scales, as well as temporary living quarters for artists-in-residence.
