Drawing on the company's playful aesthetic and the desire to see itself as a "work in progress," Specht Harpman designed and fabricated a flexibly system of full-height perforated screen walls, creating semi-private offices and workstations adjacent to public areas. Severe budget limitations required rethinking the traditional design/contracting dichotomy and material selection. Nearly all the materials were "off the shelf" components and were purchased within a two block radius of the build site.
