Looking to communicate its brand story more effectively, Oracle, a leading computer software company, tapped the experts at Provost Studio to build a dedicated video production studio that would adapt to the organization’s evolving needs. The firm embraced the challenge, creating an immersive, multifaceted space that embodies the Oracle brand while offering multiple opportunities and places to tell its story.

The project includes two studios within one space, allowing Oracle to produce content for both internal and external purposes using cutting-edge technologies. The environment was designed to be flexible and adaptable, aiming to deliver a representation of the client's vision that can evolve. Taking a holistic approach, the scope included scenic fabrication, lighting control, show lighting, and AV display and installation to fulfill the client’s design and technology needs. 

Several zones within the space accommodate different activities, including a dedicated area for 1-on-1 seated discussions, an informal setting for relaxed interactions, a cafe space with a touchscreen monitor, and two LED walls. Additionally, two lounge areas provide flexible seating and standing options, one with a home-like feel that features a green wall and bookshelf, and the other with a touchscreen monitor for dynamic content. These zones were strategically designed to promote collaboration, creativity, and productivity within the environment. With flexibility as a key consideration, the studio features equipment and elements that can be moved to suit different content, including branded panels that break up the space.

Provost Studio's design approach focused on maximizing usage and creating a warm, intimate, and personable atmosphere. In line with Oracle's branding, the studio incorporated elements like data textures throughout the space, establishing a cohesive visual identity reinforcing the client's expertise. To enhance the overall experience, Provost opted for a warmer color palette, weaving Oracle ‘red’ with limestone, redwood, natural wood, quartz, and blackened steel for a refined look.

Adopting a minimalist aesthetic, the studio exudes a sense of intelligence and confidence, captivating the audience on a deeper level. Inspired by Oracle’s offices and approached through a hospitality lens, the spatial experience creates a lasting connection with the addition of dramatic lighting and textures. This attention to detail elevates the overall design and creates a captivating environment for Oracle's content production.

The partnership between Oracle and Provost Studio has proven instrumental in establishing an environment where the company can share its messaging and engage its audience in a way that communicates a clear, consistent, and distinctive voice.
