This landmark building in Soho had seen the value of its Broadway retail frontage increase dramatically. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, the existing office lobby was relocated from the Broadway side of the building (gold area in diagram, lower left) to the rear of the building along Crosby Street (lower right). In the process, two entire stairs were able to be eliminated without sacrificing life safety, thus opening additional rentable area on both retail and office floors.
