Furby are a pair of low-income multi-unit buildings that attempt to maximize density and affordability within an urban infill area without sacrificing quality of space. The structure is entirely composed of insulated concrete forms allowing an energy efficient housing typology to be erected in a quick fashion. Large glazing allows natural light to penetrate into the depths of the units while providing a strong connection to large individual exterior patios. With a total of eight units, four of which are designated as universally accessible, Furby strives to provide quality housing to those in need in West Broadway.
