The Lafayette Apartments are located on a historical street in central Ho Chi Minh City which has many of the towns colonial heritage building . The site is relatively small for a mid-rise building and a key of the design was to make the apartment units small and efficient. The facades are an attempt to merge with the existing fabric of the surrounding French colonial architecture.
