Salisbury University Sea Gull Stadium

The new Sea Gull Stadium is the first step of the University’s vision to be a recognized national model of a 21st Century intercollegiate athletic program. Subpar to the performance of their Division III national championship teams and individuals, the University’s aging facility was in desperate need of replacement. The new 25,430-SF stadium provides their athletes with a venue they deserve, including all the necessary resources, amenities and tools to succeed against their conference and national rivals.

The stadium is designed to be compatible with the University architecture, but to also have its own strong identity and clearly delineate its function as the sporting destination on campus. The new welcoming façade fosters a sense of place, encouraging excitement and anticipation as fans proceed to the defined ground entry. Entering the concourse, fans have access to the grandstand, as well as concessions, the stadium store, and other amenities. Above, three levels house the press and coaches boxes, president’s suite, and training rooms. The field house flanks the grandstand on either side and includes facilities for men and women as well as shared training rooms.
