The new health center is a permanent replacement for their existing location nearby. At the core of Ravenswood Family Health Center’s new building is four medical pods designed for 50 exam rooms and 10 consultation rooms. Each pod contains Provider Team Rooms supporting Primary Car, Behavioral Health and Nutritional Services. The facility’s program also contains a pharmacy, imaging, laboratory, health education spaces, group rooms, optometry, dental as well as administration and clinic support spaces. The site contains kids play area, an outdoor staff patio, and a large plaza for outdoor functions such as local farmer’s markets and health fairs. This new facility nearly doubles the number of patients served annually within five years, from 13,000 in 2014 to 25,000.
