The work at Shepard Hall for DASNY as agent for CUNY/CCNY exceeds $200 million. It includes multiple interior and exterior projects, most notably the historic reconstruction of the 400,000 SF Landmark building - the largest project of its kind in the world.

The twelve-phases of exterior work, beginning in 1984 and completed in 2019, includes reconstruction of the entire building shell, including replacing 65,000 pieces of terra cotta with new thin-shell GFRC, historic mahogany windows & doors, reconstruction of both primary entry and accessory ADA ramps, as well as ornamental paving, new sidewalks & site walls, landscaping, site lighting, and statuary restoration. 

Interior work has included renovation & modernization of the 14,000 sf Great Hall, the Colin Powell School for Civic & Global Leadership, interior stairs, the evaluation of fire safety, upgrades to building-wide IT and mechanical systems, as well as various ADA modifications, including design and coordination for a new building elevator. Throughout the renovations, the building has been fully functional. The final phase of construction was completed in 2016.

The work has been the subject of case studies, numerous awards, and written about and lectured extensively internationally.
