Curated. designed contextually-appropriate residences within a formal condo tower. A playful yet elegant character connects the the lobby and amenity spaces through to each individual unit. The design is marked by clear sequencing, a play with volume and scale, and bold patterns and textures against a foundation of complex neutral coloring. Mixed woods and simple classic detailing provide a warm sensibility while black metal accents ground the experience. Familiar materials are introduced in unusual and unexpected circumstances, such as the cork-tiled corridor walls. Moments of vivid color and texture punctuate events along the lobby sequence in colored mosaic insets and metallic plaid wall covering. In the units, cream-colored walls framed with black trim, medium-toned oak floors paired with black lacquer and stone in the kitchens recede from prominence, highlighting skyline views. A series of custom vanity lights by Rich Brilliant Willing add interest to the bathrooms the while complementing the overall sense of elegant playfulness.
