MLK Plaza is a 13-story, 167 unit, affordable residential building in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Formerly zoned for manufacturing, a ULURP process allowed for the realization of a residential development. 

Designed at market rate standards, the development is the first example of the successful application of the new Zoning for Quality in Affordable Housing  regulations. The units will be entirely affordable, targeting very low income residents of the neighborhood. 

Tenants will have access to amenity spaces including a landscaped rear garden, recreation and community rooms, and a gym with an adjacent outdoor terrace on the seventh floor.

The building is conveniently located close to public transportation as well as the St. Mary’s Park and Recreation Center. The development targets LEED Gold.
