The parish of St. Finbar was in need of renovating the entire campus in order to meet the growing needs of the community and the aging campus. A master plan was generated to include a new gymnasium and multipurpose rooms, plus renovation to the convent, the rectory, meeting rooms, the classrooms, and the administrative offices. Due to funding issues, the master plan was divided into two phases, placing the most pressing construction as part of the first phase. The first phase included the new gymnasium and multipurpose rooms and also included a new kitchen, classrooms, and a youth/alter-school program area.
