Today we are a nationally-recognized incubator that transforms and evolves the city's landscape with city agencies and community collaborators. Our work can be seen, felt and experienced throughout all five boroughs–from parks and plazas to streets and public buildings.
The Design Trust for Public Space received the 2015 Olmsted Medal from the American Society of Landscape Architects, the 2016 Frederic Schwartz Community Development Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York State, and the Corporate & Institutional Achievement Award of the 2017 National Design Awards from the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
