Francois PERRIN was born in Paris where he received his professional degree in Architecture. He was the recipient of the Electra Grant for Young Architects in 1998 and was invited to participate to the international exhibitions Transarchitectures in 1998 and Archilab in 1999.
He established his practice in Los Angeles in 2000 and has since completed residential, commercial and exhibitions designs. He is the author of the book "Air Architecture" and the related exhibition has been presented in Los Angeles, New York and Vienna. He has taught at the Art Center College of Design, Sci-ARC and Cal Poly Pomona and gave lectures on his work at USC, UCLA, Columbia University, Jan Van Eyck Akademie and MAK Vienna. He was a board member of the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and his work has been recently featured in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.
