ARA Designs is a young design-oriented architectural firm established by classmates, Amey Dahanukar and Rohan Haksar. As students of the Academy of Architecture, they completed a number of residential interior projects  before leaving to pursue higher studies.

Amey obtained an M.A in Urban Design from the University of Newcastle while Rohan graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a M.Arch in Sustainable Design and is a LEED AP.

After returning to India, they set up ARA Designs in March 2010. ARA Designs pushes the limits of  design  by  experimenting with new technologies and materials. The firm has completed over 15 projects to date ranging from schools to residential and commercial interiors.

The firm currently has projects running across the fields of hospitality, retail, corporate interiors, residential buildings and master planning as  it looks to expand and add to its varied portfolio.
