SOURCE-X is a full-spectrum design studio founded by Ashley Couch and Lloyd Huber. We aim our work directly at complex problems - from climate change to economic collapse - in order to achieve solutions with immediate and lasting impact. By working within the framework of social and cultural systems, we propose an architecture of transformative strategies (from the environmental to the financial) rather than isolated designs.

In 2011, we founded a research unit (source-x.org) to work within the non-profit sector to examine problems that remain unaddressed and to explore ideas and technologies worth developing. This office sometimes works in collaboration with our commercial clients to inject intelligence gained from research into our various project applications.
