Felix Schwake was born in 1984 in Fulda, Germany. He visited the Mies-van-der-Rohe-School in Aachen and studied traditional architecture with a focus on design. His studio is located in Bochum, Germany where he lives and works.
Abstraction and presentation; the dialogue between stage and subject guides his interventions in architecture as well as in the creation of art.
Selected pieces are available through the art gallery Scene Ouverte in Paris and at leading global art and design fairs such as Art Basel, Art Paris, Design Miami / Basel, Dubai Design Week, FIAC, Frieze, FOG, PAD London, TEFAF Maastricht, TEFAF New York, The Armory Show, and Zona MACO.
At the Department of Architecture at "University of Applied Sciences and Arts, FH Dortmund" he holds lectureships for “Building Design” and “Building Construction”.
