Design is increasingly a vital component of our lives as we are supersaturated with information and constant change. Style and talent alone are outmoded singular concepts that struggle for meaning. OBERMEYER embraces the vitality of design in our paradigm, not as any fixed, pre-conceived expression but as an informed and collaborative process from which solutions and surprises emerge.
Andrew Obermeyer founded OBERMEYER as a collaborative practice in architectures of all scales. He studied arts and architecture under Coy Howard at Otis College of Art and Design and completed a Master Degree in Architecture at University of California Los Angeles. Obermeyer is an Exhibits Committee member at the A+D Museum where he is committed to supporting and celebrating the diversity of design in Los Angeles. He frequently participates as a guest critic in review of final student coursework at OTIS, UCLA, USC and Woodbury University.
