Rob Rogers and Jonathan Marvel founded Rogers Marvel Architects in 1992. Both partners have extensive backgrounds designing significant cultural projects around the world; both bring a strong hand and intense analytical approach to making architecture. RMA's team includes architects, graphic designers, industrial designers, landscape architects, preservationists and digital specialists. RMA's principals and staff work together to develop project-specific analysis techniques and building proposals. Our team's collective skills enable us to comprehensively develop sophisticated buildings and structures, long-term masterplans, parks and urban open spaces, and furniture and products.

RMA seeks no stylistic label. We seek conceptually elegant solutions that can direct complex decisions and intricate details. We develop these solutions through a critical understanding of a project's inherent strengths and weakness as determined by site conditions, political realities, material properties or budget constraints. We use site and context, whether a deep urban canyon or arid Wyoming desert, to help organize program, circulation and light. We use a consistent hands-on approach from project inception through construction, and carefully choosing and detailing materials throughout a project.
