Practicing architecture has been a process of unlearning and search rather than of any expression or achievement. Indigenous materials, techniques and locally appropriate aesthetics excite us. To bring these techniques in the mainstream rather than patronizing them as alternative is my dream.

This firm was founded by Varun Thautam and later was joined by Ajinkya Unhale. in 2011, Varun went on to pursue studies on history and theory of earthen construction - Rammed earth to be specific, Ajinkya chose to go to take a break to travel and fuel his passion in Auroville.

We are currently seeking design build opportunities in India. Cost effective construction, sustainable architecture are core to our practice. Design for development is where our practice comes most handy in.
