Established by David Lyndon and Simon Goode, Lyndon Goode is recognised for its work in architecture, design and strategic thinking. Widely respected for its balance of skills in negotiation, presentation and technical capability, the practice works proactively and in close collaboration with client and consultant teams to achieve elegant, transformative solutions.
The practice has extensive experience across many sectors, including residential, infrastructure, cultural and retail. Alongside major architectural commissions, the studio's portfolio spans exhibitions, private homes and artist collaborations. The studio's work includes the first custom-built comedy venue to open in London in over 20 years, the development of a string of artist studios in Chelsea, major retail regeneration in Islington, restoration of Arts and Craft housing, and a new café space, reading room and mobile bar at the Royal College of Art's Dyson building.
Simon and David have worked in many countries, including India, Taiwan, Algeria and the UEA, and have an affiliated office also in Brooklyn. Operating within a wide range of regulatory frameworks, the studio has built up a substantial body of expertise in the delivery of complex projects, often in challenging and unusual conditions.
Prior to founding their practice, Simon led the John McAslan design team on the award winning King's Cross station redevelopment, including the retail element of the Grade I-listed Western Range building. David recently completed the Royal College of Art campus in Battersea for Haworth Tompkins, and prior to that, was responsible for a series of retail outlets for clients including Hackett and Chloe.
A fellow of the RSA, Simon has lectured and tutored extensively, including with the Bartlett School in London, Columbia University in New York and the Marhi in Moscow. David currently tutors at Cambridge University.
Our recent clients include Peabody, JLL, The Royal Court Theatre, Islington Council and The Royal College of Art.
