Field Architecture (FIELD) is an award-winning firm based in Palo Alto, with interesting clients and exciting projects in California, and abroad. We are looking for talented individuals to contribute to inspired project design and development. Our ideal candidates are both creative and technically minded, highly motivated, self-reliant, and interested in growing with our firm. Our work environment is casual and energized, with direct interface with firm principals and project teams, and exposure to all phases of design and construction.
We design high-end custom homes for private clients, creating an architecture that is congruous with the site, and fosters a connection between people and land. Whether through conversation, drawing or model, our designs are born from a dialogue that is infused with optimism and sensitivity.
The studio environment is informal and built around a culture of drawing and making. Our team is small and everyone is a valuable contributor to the success of our projects. All members of our team are involved in the realization of projects, from design through construction - building strong relationships with builders, consultants, and craftspeople.
