In Khonkaen city, Many trees still remain to be seen in abandoned areas and government centers. The traffic is not jam like a capital but khon kaen city is growing up every year and still the main city in E-San (northeast of Thailand) so it is a reason that school cafe owners chose to open a new branch in Khon Kaen city. To share knowledge to coffee farmers and processor by his experimental workshops. He tries to find something new in this establishment.

             The coffee cultural activities were developing well in E-san. Many Roasters live there and settle a roasting plant but nowhere guild for grouped those people together so it is a agenda of this project. we try to build a temporary guild for experiment and workshop.

                The house is designed as a bridal place (the tradition residence for wedding couple) and roasting plant and these  2 programs would mean to live in nature and present to coffee social whom were still growing in a neighborhood. Especially an owner's personal taste who like camping in a coffee plantation and outdoor recreation. so a special semi-outdoor space of this house call "CHAN( Thai tradition terrace )" is the most gimmick for a supported social recreation area.

                CHAN, which is unique for this neighborhood. it is designed as a multi-purpose space for chilled café and workshop in daytime and the camping area at night. With the suitable position, Chan is approached and confronted in the middle gap between 2 rain trees where is the best position to surround by nature.
