The concept behind this townhouse design is “Earthquake
Aftermath in Japan”. Earthquakes occur multiple times in
Japan so this modern Japanese style house incorporate the
feel of an apocalypse. The original floorplan of the house will
be drastically shifted and twisted from its original orientation.
Interior walls would be broken up in pieces with large gaps in
between. Guests would feel a bit disoriented as they enter the
house because of how all the walls go diagonally into the
perimeter walls.
