Based on a geometric exploration with folded planes, a topography was formed and analyzed to become the basis for the design of a theater.
The chevron geometry, discovered in the folding studies developed into a flexible mold system for a pre-cast construction logic.
Pre-cast box beams and the concave/convex geometry of the chevron generated the design of an indoor/outdoor theater.
The building, defined through ‘stepping’, was conceptualized a habit- able mound that is part of its landscape. The roofscape became the seats for the outdoor theater. The topography inside became a theater- in-the-round.
