My name is Eve (Yifan) Li, an architectural and interior designer. I recently graduated in May 2020 from the University of Southern California with a Master of Architecture degree. I am eligible to work in the United States, and currently have my OPT work authorization valid for 3 years, starting from July 13th, 2020.

I believe that the value of architecture design lies in the creation of detail-oriented and sustainable interior and architectural spaces with visually-attractive form through BIM programs and other CAD and softwares, that can come life to reality using the ever-updating design-build machinery technologies and environmental friendly and energy saving materials. I'm often inspired by the craftsmanship structural consideration behind historical East Asia and European architecture. I have been in a studied abroad program in Japan in summer 2018 and have also traveled to Thailand, Mexico, Dubai, and Romania learn about local architecture and the history behind them. I have been studying and living in the United States for 7 consecutive years for college and graduate level education, so I am fluent in both English and Chinese and is familiar with social and culture context in both United States and China.

Currently, I’m looking for an architecture or interior design firm where work for a long term (3-5 years at least), so I can learn and improved my skills in working on and managing design-built projects that I can see through different design and construction phases of a whole project. I am interested in working on different types of design projects including residential, commercial and healthcare projects. I enjoy working with in a team environment where I can communicate efficiently with team members to inspire and challenge each other.

Besides architecture and interior design, I'm also passionate about learning and producing graphic design and illustration projects. I am often inspired by the aesthetics and imaginary forms of Japanese manga illustration ranging from historical, modern and futuristic time periods, which has in turn helped build up my aesthetic tastes for my professional projects.
