Additional Credits: One of a series of boutique stores designed for the newly redeveloped Royal Hawaiian Center. The owner of this well-established Japanese cosmetics brand requested a completely new concept for their U.S. flagship store. Using Renaissance architecture as a departure point, the new space was envisioned as a simple display box layered with ornately detailed functional ribbons. The ribbons were farther articulated with concealed halo effect lighting.
