The city of Cirella is located by the Tyrrhenian sea in the region of Calabria. Even though this old city was abandoned near the site there is The Theater of the Ruins of Cirella, an open theatre where the Summer Festival takes place every year. The idea of the project is to use the site of the ruins of Cirella to create an open diffused theatre which would be connected to the existing one. This way the fragmented image of the lost city forms a connected sequence of spaces accessible without touching the ruins.
