I enjoy designing and researching user-experience focused architecture with a heavy emphasis on interior space. I love to study human behavior and how people interact with the built environment.

Ware Malcomb, Chicago, IL, US, Summer Intern

My largest responsibility for this position was creating and modifying site plans in the early phases of design. Additionally, I worked on construction document edits, design markups, and designed their ‘Canstruction’ model.

Streightiff + Associates, Lake Forest, IL, US, Summer Intern

Washington University in St. Louis, Bachelors, Architecture

At Wash U I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Architecture and minor in Urban Design. Wash U is a design-oriented program that emphasizes the importance of the design process, and really works to develop each student's individual process. My education began with an introduction into hand drafting, an increasingly rarer taught skill in architecture education. As I progressed through the program I learned to synthesize many styles of drawing and designing fluently via Adobe Suite, Rhino, AutoCAD, sketching, modeling, and drafting.

Class of 2017 Commencement Speaker, Other

I was elected to speak on behalf of my peers during my graduation ceremony in May of 2017. Every year one undergraduate and one graduate student are elected by their fellow graduating students to deliver some closing remarks on our time at Wash U.

Canstruction Chicago: Best Meal, Other

Part of my responsibilities as intern at Ware Malcomb Chicago included design and coordination of the Canstruction competition submission. Our submission won the award for ‘Best Meal,’ signifying that it provided the most useful food products for the Chicago Food Pantry, with a total of 8,000 cans.

Year End Show Curation, Other

In the Spring of 2016 I, along with two teammates, won the privilege to curate the Year End Show for the graduating architecture students of Wash U. We designed and prepared the exhibit for graduation week so that friends and families of the graduates could gain a glimpse into the collective work of the class of 2016.
